After thorough training in Fukushima, Sukagawa City, sweets shop Hinodeya’s owner learned his craft, and has been making confections in Tenei Village for 50 years.
Local people who love this shop insist it is the obvious thing to say, “When it comes to sweets, you can’t help thinking Hinodeya.”
In addition, “Hinodeya’s bean paste is so good” and popular because we continue the traditional manufacturing methods to make the wonderful flavor.
Ever since we opened, shihoyaki, kintsuba (bean paste wrapped in wheat dough shaped like a sword guard), yubeshi (yuzu citrus-flavored steamed dumplings), daifuku, etc. are highly popular.
Among these, the sakamanju (sake flavor bun) is the trademark of this shop and has become a special product here in Tenei Village.
Because these products are best eaten fresh, we sell over the counter and never wholesale.
Now we have opened two shops in Koriyama City, which had been our dream for many years.
We strive to continue making mouthwatering confections so everyone can love us in the future.
