Shirakawa City, on Fujisawa Mountain
Nicknamed "Karame Castle" this is the ruins of Shirakawa Yuki's castle. This mountain castle was built where Karame Mountain runs into Fujisawa Mountain and from the hilltop to the east we can see Shirakawa City and, to the south, the Abukuma River.
Of the medieval fortress, only the empty moat and earthworks remain, and now it is recommended as a walking trail.
