Zaruuchi Burial Mound was made during the Kofun Period and consists of four elevated tombs and a group of 54 cave tombs, one of which is Zaruuchi No. 4 (a round cave-type stone barrow with a diameter of 11.5 meters, and chamber with a total length of 4.85 meters), that have been restored inside Kochi-no-dai Athletic Park.
Some very old things were found in cave No. 37 and have been restored, like important gilded bronze horse tackle displayed on horse models at the Cultural Heritage Center "Mahoron" and a model of the No.2 "Keyhole-shaped tomb" is on permanent display outside.
