In 1969, Shirakawa Meijo opened its doors in Nishigo Village.
"Since ancient times, sake has carried on as Japan's drink. We offer a wholesome, inexpensive libation." Not caring so much about a special name for the sake, we are more concerned rather, about making reasonably priced sake.
Shirakawa Meijo has many products full of originality. Because of this, soon after we opened, we began selling to small shops and wholesalers and had many suggestions for original products etc.
"We do things that others don't. This niche market has increased our performance" this has resulted in products that number over 300, which we sell all over the country.
