In a wealth of nature, with the changing feeling of the four seasons, time flows slowly and removes the fatigue of the day at this relaxing hot spring inn.
From old times, Nekonaki Hot Spring's water has attracted many convalescing visitors here, because it is believed to have a healing effect on diseases and improving renal function.
With the room come multicourse meals fit for a king that are mainly seasonal, unique, and skillfully-arranged Western creations with rural ingredients harvested from the mountains and the waters, giving the color of the seasons.
In order to deliver the taste of the season, we change the menu every month.
You must make a reservation to have a meal that day.
The origin of the name Nekonaki Onsen (Cat Cry Hot Springs) has to do with the female poet of the Heian period, "Izumi Shikibu" a native of Ishikawa, who always lived with a cat, but left it behind when she moved to Kyoto. The ownerless cat would not stop crying for his mistress and became seriously ill. However, when the cat was immersed in the spring, it got its strength back.
Because of this, people in the area who think the spring is good for the body and come here to recover call this area Nekonaki Onsen.
